About This Farm
For over 25 years, we have been growing fruit, fun and memories. We are committed to growing fresh fruit and vegetables using sustainable farming practices, and educating guests about agriculture while having lots of fun along the way. We work hard to bring your the best products and keep our business safe and enjoyable for all guests. This 215 acre farm has been owned and operated by the Downey family since 1920. In 1987, we opened a roadside corn stand, where the 5 Downey children sold sweet corn so they could buy additional hockey equipment. Soon, we renovated the dairy barn to house a farm market with fresh Ontario fruits and vegetables, homemade preserves, honey, maple syrup, and in-house bakery. In 2001, the addition of Downey's Estate Winery was opened.
Our farm is currently closed. Easterfest will be held in early April 2020. Check our website for more details.
